In view of this, the people of the community demonstrated in front of the Shivaji statue located in the palace. During this time, the police tried to remove the protesters from there, but the tension could not be reduced.
After the protest, the people of the Muslim community reached Ganesh Peth Police Station and demanded an FIR against Bajrang Dal workers. The police have been arrested to arrest the accused as soon as possible and give them strict punishment. The police have made adequate security arrangements in the palace area so that the situation can be kept under control. People alleged how the protesters made such a man in the presence of the police.
Joint Commissioner Nisar Tamboli of Nagpur told the media that the police has registered a complaint in this case and the case is under investigation. He said that the police is fully ready to control the situation and soon strict steps will be taken against the culprits in this matter.
