‘Vote theft’ in more than 27 seats in 2023 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections, Congress made sensational allegations – Madhya Pradesh Lop Umang Singhar Alleges Vote Chori in State Assembly Polls LCLN

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, Leader of Madhya Pradesh Assembly, alleged that during the 2023 assembly elections in the state, more than 27 seats were ‘theft’. The Congress leader alleges that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was given ‘unethical benefits’ to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.

Talking to reporters in the capital Bhopal, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Singhar also claimed through data -based graphics and data that a few months before the election, lakhs of voters were added and in the seats where the Congress candidates lost by a small margin, there was more than the margin of defeat in the number of voters.

The Congress leader insisted, “Votes were stolen in more than 27 assembly seats in the state and this was done to provide unethical benefits to the BJP.” Please tell that Madhya Pradesh has 230 assembly seats.

Singhar claimed that the total number of voters in Madhya Pradesh increased by about 4.64 lakhs in seven months between January 5 and 2 August 2023, as compared to 16.05 lakh voters in just two months between August 2 and October 4.

The opposition MLA said, “This means that (between August 2 to October 4), 26,000 voters were added every day.” Voting in the state was held on 17 November 2023.

The Leader of Opposition said, “(Congress MP) Rahul Gandhi has shocked the country by the revelations of vote theft. Madhya Pradesh is also a big victim of this planned electoral conspiracy.” He alleged that there are large -scale irregularities in the voter list, including abnormal increase in the number of voters and duplicate entry.

Singhar said that the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission issued an order on 2 December 2022, directing the removal of 8 lakh 51 thousand 564 fake and duplicate entry in the voter list, but no district officer made public the deletion report. He claimed that the related data was also not provided through the Right to Information.

The Congress MLA demanded the Election Commission to stop the final voter list, to take the signature of all political parties on the published voter list and to avoid any change till the election is over.

Singhar requested the Election Commission to release the entire data of voters in a ‘machine-sanctified format’ and provide CVS (file format) instead of PDF image so that the list could be investigated freely.

Be aware that in the 2023 assembly elections, BJP got 163 seats, while Congress won only 66 seats.
