Waqf amendment bill 2024: During the voting on Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024, two MPs of Sharad Chandra Pawar’s party (nationalist) were absent in the Lok Sabha, while Sharad Pawar himself was absent in the Rajya Sabha. During the passage of an important bill, there is confusion about his role due to the absence of NCP leader Sharad Chandra Pawar’s party.
The Waqf Amendment Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday and after discussion, the bill was passed in the Lok Sabha late at night. During the voting on this bill in the Lok Sabha, Nationalist Congress Party MP Amol Kolhe and Sharad Chandra Pawar’s party’s Suresh Balya Mama Mhatre was absent from the House. Similarly, MP Suresh Mhatre was a member of the JPC Committee formed in connection with the Waqf Amendment Bill, but he did not attend any meeting.
Near Sharad Pawar’s nearly said this
This was seen during the voting on this bill. It has also been told that he was not present in the JPC meeting. However, close to Sharad Pawar told ABP News that Pawar was undergoing treatment in Mumbai due to which he could not go to Delhi. But due to the absence of MPs of Pawargut, the market of speculation is fast.
Muslim leaders will meet Amit Shah
On the other hand, ideological problems have been created among the Muslim leaders of Ajit Pawar faction. The Muslim leaders have been in trouble after the state president and MP Sunil Tattakre voting in favor of the Waqf Amendment Bill by appearing in the Lok Sabha. The society talks about moving forward to the secular ideology, while on the other hand, when it came to standing with the minority, then why the party president supported the Waqf Bill, such questions are presenting the minority leaders of the party itself. Along with the party’s minority branch, other Muslim leaders of the party will also unite and meet National President Ajit Pawar soon.
