Waqf amendment bill 2025: The Waqf Amendment Bill, 2025 was passed in the lower house of Parliament on Wednesday (April 2) on Wednesday (2 April). Now the Waqf Amendment Bill has been introduced in the upper house of Parliament today i.e. on Thursday (April 3) to discuss and pass.
Majority figure got only 16 votes more
However, after the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari has given a statement on the BJP. MP Pramod Tiwari said, “We were expecting about this bill, as the BJP hoped that he would get votes across 300 in support of this bill. But these are only 16 votes ahead of the majority figures. It means that the alarm bell has started ringing.”
Congress MP commented on Lalan Singh and Amit Shah
