Waqf amendment bill: Eid was celebrated with great pomp in the country. However, in many cities including Delhi, during Muslim Namaz, he reached the arm by tying a black bandage in his arm. In Jama Masjid of Delhi, people tied a black band and reached to offer Eid prayers. They believe that the Waqf bill can affect the existing Waqf property and this can affect their religious places. A protestor here said that we are opposing this bill peacefully, as Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind told him. Namaji said that his grandfather had vaqf for Abdullah Mosque, where everyone is offering prayers comfortably till now. This bill may obstruct the management of Waqf properties.
Namazis in Bhopal symbolic protest

All these changes are being opposed.

The Waqf Amendment Bill has also been opposed in Telangana’s capital Hyderabad. After Eid prayers, the Waqf Amendment Bill was opposed by showing posters in the Idgah of Saidabad. MP from here Asaduddin Owaisi has said that he will fight against this bill from Parliament to the court.
