Amit shah on pakistan zindabad slogan: After passing from the Lok Sabha, the Waqf Amendment Bill is being discussed in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday (April 03, 2025). During this, BJP MP Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal alleged about Congress MP Nasir Hussain that when he won, slogans of Pakistan Zindabad were raised. There was a lot of uproar in the House on this.
Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal said, ‘When Nasir Hussain was elected to the Rajya Sabha, when he was announced, I was in Bangalore, Karnataka. Slogans of Pakistan Zindabad were raised in the Karnataka assembly. When BJP leaders opposed this, they were sent to jail. After the BJP MP said so much, there was an uproar in the Parliament, then Amit Shah stood in the middle and said that there should be no interruptions in the middle.
Pramod Tiwari expressed objection
Congress MP Pramod Tiwari objected, saying, ‘Rule 238A, I want to say with a lot of humility that no member will make any allegation of defaulting or criminal form against another member until the allegations have given the charge to the Chairman. Nasir Hussain was not given any information about it. My request is that the discussion goes on peacefully, so no such allegation should be made, which will make the dignity of the Rajya Sabha fall.
Amit Shah replied
Regarding this whole matter, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, ‘Honorable member has not accused Nasir Hussain. He has just said that when he wins, the slogans of Pakistan Zindabad should be raised, what is the allegation on them. Someone else raised slogans. But the slogans were started in Pakistan Zindabad, why Nasir Hussain should be clarified on why.
What did Nasir Hussain say?
He said, ‘If my name is taken, then I have to answer. When this incident happened, no one was present, except a journalist who heard it. Even after this, I told my government on air that if anyone has done this, then he should be arrested.
