According to the statement of Delhi Jal Board, in areas where water supply will be affected, Jungpura, Lajpat Nagar, Bhogal, Kalkaji Block-6, Kailash Kunj, Nehru Apartment, Aurobindo Market, Geeta Colony, Janata Flats, Mayur Vihar Phase-3 , Mayur Vihar Phase-2 (Pocket A, BC and D), Shalimar Bagh Bibi Block, Ekta Apartment West Vihar, Madipur, Pocket-11 DDA Flats, Jasola Vihar, Janakpuri C-5D Block, Vikashpuri, and Janakpuri A-2 Blocks include.
The Jal Board has stated in the statement that this will be inconvenienced due to cleaning the reservoirs and pumping stations once a year.
Due to the closure of water supply, people living in these areas have been asked to store the water. Apart from this, the facility of water tankers will also be available from the helpline or central control room of Delhi Jal Board.
