Speaking to news agency ANI, CJI’s brother Dr. Rajendra Gawai said, “My mother has been invited for the RSS program to be held on 5 October in Amravati. He has accepted the invitation. This program to be held on 5th is not the main event. The Chief Vijayadashami program is being held in Nagpur on 2 October.”

Dr. Rajendra Gavai said, “Personal and political relations are different. We do not leave our ideology behind in any case. Our ideology is strong.” The event to be held on Sunday (5 September 2025) is part of the RSS centenary celebrations, which symbolizes the completion of 100 years of the organization since its establishment in Nagpur on behalf of KB Hedgewar in 1925.

CJI’s mother’s name is listed as the Chief Guest in the official invitation. He was the former Governor and senior leader of the Republican and Ambedkarite movement in Vidarbha. Gawai’s wife. R.S. Gawai also served as the chairman of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Committee, Deekshabhoomi. Rajendra Gawai is currently a member of this committee

According to the report of the news agency PTI, PM Modi will release a memorial postage stamps and Sakka on Wednesday (1 October 2025) in the presence of Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosbole of RSS on the eve of the centenary year celebrations of the organization.
