The first flight of delivery from America will reach Amritsar tomorrow. The C-17 aircraft of US Air Force are being sent to India. He was already in detention in America.
On the other hand, on the news of sending illegal migrants from America to India, the US Embassy said that the US is strictnessing the immigration laws. The first round of deportation of illegal Indian citizens has begun two weeks after Donald Trump became President of America. Trump has promised to adopt strict policy approaches to deal with illegal migrants living in the US and has already signed several orders related to it.
‘America is removing illegal migrants’
However, when asked about the flight departure from America, the spokesperson of the US embassy did not give much information. However, he said, “America is removing illegal migrants. I cannot share any details about those investigations, but I can share on records that the US is strict about its border security, strictnessing immigration laws and removing illegal migrants. ”
He said, these actions are a clear message that illegal migration is full of risk. After a phone conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 27 January, Trump said that India will do the same in the matter of sending illegal migrants from America.
Oppose illegal immigration- India
Last month, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) had said that it opposed illegal immigration and is ready to withdraw Indians living in America, provided their nationality is verified. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said on 24 January that India opposes illegal immigration, as it is related to many forms of organized crime. He said, we will withdraw them, provided documents are shared with us so that we can verify their nationality and find out that they are really Indians.
