‘Weapon to marginal Muslims’, Rahul Gandhi’s tweet amid discussion on Waqf Bill – A Weapon to Marginalise Muslims Rahul Gandhi Tweets AMID Discussion on Waqf Bill NTC

During the discussion in the Lok Sabha on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, Rahul Gandhi has opposed it by posting on social media. Rahul Gandhi described it as marginalizing Muslims. Please tell that Rahul Gandhi did not participate in the discussion on the Waqf Bill.

On the social media platform x, Rahul Gandhi wrote, ‘Waqf (Amendment) Bill is a weapon made aimed at marginalizing Muslims and grabbing their personal laws and property rights.’

Rahul further wrote, ‘This attack on the constitution by RSS, BJP and their allies is being targeted by Muslims today, but it sets an example to target other communities in future.’

Congress opposed

The Congress leader further said that the Congress party strongly opposed this bill as it attacks India’s original concept and Article 25, violates the right to religious freedom.

Why did Rahul Gandhi not speak in Parliament

The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha is Rahul Gandhi but Rahul Gandhi has not given any speech on behalf of the opposition on the Waqf Bill. And this has also happened when Rahul Gandhi was saying last week that the government does not let him speak in Parliament.

According to the information, in the meeting of the parliamentary party, Rahul Gandhi had suggested that the same leaders should give a speech on the Waqf bill which was part of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) made on this issue and that is why Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi gave the first speech from the opposition.
