People’s problems increased due to cold in UP and Bihar
In the last 24 hours, rain has been recorded in many areas of UP, due to which the cold has increased once again. Due to the effect of Western disturbance, there is a possibility of strong winds and light rain, which can benefit the rabi crop of farmers. IMD issued rain alert in Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Rampur, Bareilly, Saharanpur and Moradabad, but the forecast was not completely accurate. There is relief from sunlight in Bihar during the day, but due to the wester winds, the cold is feeling. There is a possibility of thick fog in southern Bihar.
Cold continues in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan
There is a possibility of cloudy and rain in Haryana and Punjab till 8 February. However, between 9 to 11 February, the rain may shift towards the Punjab-Haryana border. The effect of cold will remain due to cold winds. Cold wave continues in many parts of Rajasthan. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in many districts including Jaipur, Kota and Sikar was recorded below 10 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Fatehpur was 2.8 degrees Celsius, which has increased the cold.
Snowfall increased due to snowfall in Himachal and Kashmir
Snowfall continues in high altitude areas in Himachal Pradesh. Snow has been recorded in Shimla, Kullu, Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti. The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘yellow alert’ of thunderstorms and lightning in some areas. Due to snowfall and rain in Kashmir, the temperature has reached minus degrees Celsius. There is a situation of cold day in many areas including Srinagar. According to meteorologists, due to western disturbance, the weather will remain bad here for the next few days.
Alert for rain and thunderstorms continues in northeastern states
There is a possibility of thunderstorms and thunderstorms in Northeast India for the next two days due to the formation of cyclonic circulation in Bangladesh and the upper parts of Assam. This can affect life. On the other hand, in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan and Delhi-NCR, the game of sunshine and shade will continue throughout the day. Due to the effect of western disturbance by 8 February, there is a possibility of light drizzle in these states with strong winds, causing the temperature to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
