Weather update 8 Feb: There is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain along with strong thunderstorms in many areas of Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. On 10 and 11 February, there is a possibility of heavy rains with thunderstorms again.

In some states of North India, including Delhi,, in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the heat has started to feel prematurely, but the weather has become cold again in many states due to the storm. However, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of low rainfall by February 8, 2025, while the dense fog alert has also been issued. Even though the maximum temperature has reached 25 degrees Celsius, but due to cold wave, the cold remained cold.

Ladakh and Kashmir will rain and snowfall

Cold outbreaks continue in many states of North India. The mercury has increased, but the condition of cold wave remains. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains and snowfall may occur in the next 24 hours in Ladakh and many areas of Kashmir, including western Himalayan areas, due to which the temperature can go to minus.

Light to moderate rain from 8 to 12 February

Light to moderate rains are expected in Northwest India from 8 to 12 February due to western disturbances. The minimum temperature is expected to increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius during the next three days. The minimum temperature in Central India during the next two days is expected to fall by about two to three degrees Celsius and thereafter, there is a possibility of an increase of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius during three days.

Temperature will increase in Maharashtra

There is no possibility of any significant change in the eastern states for the next three days. At the same time, Maharashtra may increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius from the minimum temperature during the next four days after 24 hours. In the next 4 to 5 days in central India including Maharashtra, the maximum temperature can increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius. Fog an alert has been issued in Orissa.

Thunderstorms with thunderstorms and also likely to rain

In many areas of Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, thunderstorms and rain have also been expected. On 10 and 11 February, there is a possibility of heavy rains with thunderstorms again.
