The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Bengal unit has alleged that some Muslim girls attacked a group of Hindu women. The party said that the attack took place when they refused to raise the slogan “Allah-Hu-Akbar”.
The BJP has also alleged on the social media handle that Hindu women said peacefully, “This is a public place, not religious. You cannot force us, we are Hindus.” After this, the accused women attacked them.
The party has posted a video of a woman on social media, in which she is claiming that some women tried to forced the slogan with her.
Joint Commissioner (HQ) IPS Miraj Khalid of Kolkata Police told India Today, “We have received information about this alleged incident on social media. So far no one has filed a complaint in any police station. It is being duly investigated to bring out the truth.”

A Kolkata Police source told India Today, “The complainant is being identified through sources. It is taking time because no one has filed a written complaint in any police station so far. The woman will be called for questioning as soon as the woman is identified. If the incident is found to be true, the case will be filed.”
