The British Prime Minister Kir Stmper described the Ahmedabad plane crash as ‘destructive’. He said that my condolences are with the families affected by the accident. Air India flight was going from Ahmedabad to London. There were 242 passengers on the plane. The passengers also included 53 British citizens, 7 Portuguese and one Canadian citizen.
