Know what is this Vadima law
The Vadima law, also called Child Rights Law in UAE, was implemented to ensure children’s rights. This law came into force in 2016 for the protection and good of children in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Its purpose is to protect children’s rights, promote their physical, mental and social welfare, and protect them from violence, exploitation, abuse.
Under this law, if a child dies due to negligence of a person, then he may have to face strict punishment. According to Article 342 of the Federal Law No. 3 of UAE, if someone dies due to the mistake of a person, then he has to face a heavy fine along with the jail sentence. Under this provision, Shehzadi of Uttar Pradesh has been heard death penalty in Dubai.
Know what is the whole matter
In fact, Shehzadi, a woman from Uttar Pradesh, is facing the death penalty for the tragic murder of a child. Giving information about the matter, Shehzadi’s father said that his face was burnt in childhood. She was working in Roti Bank of Banda during the Kovid-19 lockdown. Meanwhile, through Facebook, he became friends with a man named Ujir of Agra. In November 2021, Ujir sent Shehzadi to Dubai for treatment. In Dubai, she came in contact with Ujir’s relatives, including her uncle Faiz and aunt Nazia as well as Nazia’s mother-in-law Anjum Sahana Begum.
According to Shabbir, Nazia gave birth to a son, who died at the age of four months and 21 days. After this, Shehzadi was accused of death of the child and arrested. Shabbir claims that his daughter has been falsely implicated in this case.
Demand for intervention from the government raised
Her father Shabbir Khan has appealed several times to intervene with Indian authorities and the government to intervene and save her daughter. He says that Shehzadi is innocent and he has been incorrectly accused. The Indian Embassy is in constant touch with the UAE government. A review petition has been filed in the case of Shehzadi which is under consideration.
