New Delhi. The Indian cricket team will take on the second Test match of the series against England from July 2. This test will be played at Edgbaston ground in Birmingham, where India’s record is very bad. The players of Team India are currently shedding Pasina in the nets. The Indian batsmen are bowling in the net Harpreet Singh Brar and Jagjit Singh Sandhu. Both the players have not yet got a chance to play for Team India. Sandhu is the senior of Indian captain Shubman Gill and Arshdeep Singh who is currently bowling in the net. ‘I have played under 19 cricket against Washington’
Jagjit recalled his early cricket days when he played matches with or against many players in the Indian team. In the video, Jagjit told that he has played together with Rishabh Pant at the under -19 level while Shubman Gill is his junior. Jagjit has spent a lot of time in domestic cricket with Shubman. He also told that he has played against Washington Sundar in Under 19 cricket while Arshdeep Singh has been very junior with him.
‘Arshdeep Singh used to help in bowling’
Jagjit Singh Sandhu said about Arshdeep Singh, ‘When I was playing under -19, Arshdeep was a part of Under 16. I used to tell him how to bowl and how to take a run-up. He still asks me which ball is better and how should I bowl to the batsman and how to get a swing. I feel very proud to see Arshdeep.
