Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Assembly Tejashwi Yadav has asked the Nitish Kumar government about the alleged scam of ₹ 71000 crore in Bihar. Tejashwi has questioned why the Nitish government, who was allegedly doing this Mahaghotale, should be silent and should tell him its account.
Tejashwi Yadav said, this is not your property, this is the public earning of the public. Where did the fund go, in which pocket went? Is this not corruption? What told the country?
On the other hand, Tejashwi Yadav has also attacked social media through ‘Triple M’ regarding this alleged scam. Tejashwi has said that the government first scams 71000 crores and then keeps the public entangled in insignificant issues like mutton, fish and Muslims.
In fact, during the monsoon session last week, a report of the Competrlers and Auditor General (CAG) was presented in the assembly, which states that the Bihar government has not submitted a utility certificate of ₹ 70877 crore from 2016 to 31 March 2024.
According to the report, ₹ 14452.38 crore in the year 2016-17, ₹ 3746.64 crore in 2017-18, ₹ 5870.67 crore in 2018-19, ₹ 17980.24 crore in 2019-2021, ₹ 16014.34 crore in 2021-22, ₹ 16014.34 crore in 2021-22, ₹ 128134 million in 2022-23.
From 2016 to 31 March 2023, in the last 8 years, the Utility certificate of ₹ 70877.61 crore has not been submitted by the Bihar government, for which the CAG has feared that this amount has been manipulated or embezzled.
The five departments of Bihar government, who are guilty of not submitting the most utility certificates, have their names …
– Panchayati Raj Department ₹ 28154.10 Crore
– Education Department ₹ 12623.67 crore
– Urban Development Department ₹ 11065.50 Crore
– Rural Development Department ₹ 7800.48 Crore
