Chinese AI Deepsek has caught attention around the world. This AI of China made a challenge for American companies. Alam is that even US President Donald Trump has asked American companies to ‘wake up’ regarding Deepsek. Actually, a startup from Chinese has prepared this AI in just two months by spending a few million dollars.
The biggest reason for the discussion of Deepseek R1 is its affordable. The company has prepared it with low resources, which is a collision with Meta and Openai bots. It is not that this is the first AI bot made by a Chinese company.
Where is India in the race?
Even before this, many Chinese companies have launched their AI models, but no one was opening Openai’s chatgpt, Google Gemini or Meta AI. Deepseek Has shown the world that you need the most will power to make a strong AI model. In the midst of all this, there is a question that where is India in this race. Ola launched Krutrim AI, but it has not become very popular yet.

In the world of AI, China and American AI are being discussed, but India is not named anywhere. Has India been out of this race or was India never in this race. We think the situation is different from both these options. China’s AI Uday is a wakeup call for India. Government of India and Indian companies need to work in this direction.
Want success like upi
If we look at the technology world, then you will find that at present, India has not prepared any other global technology except UPI. Neither do we have any established global smartphone brand, like China has. Most of the selling phones in India belong to Chinese companies, but we do not have any powerful brand of our own.

Nor have we prepared any global tech company like Google or Apple. In such a situation, the Government of India and the big companies of the country should start work on research and development for growth in this sector as soon as possible. We are not involved in the race of AI today, but if research is started in the right direction, then we can find a solution. The biggest example of this is UPI, which has provided a reliable and affordable service to people around the world.
How can India challenge China and America?
Currently AI is in its early stages and there will be continuous changes in this sector. AI will reach its peak in the next decade and by then we can give the world an option. China’s models are affordable, but they cannot be trusted. The reason for this is allegations of espionage on China.
At the same time, American models are reliable, so they cost more. So if Indian companies start work in this sector and prepare an AI that is affordable and reliable, then we can join this race. We have to do something as ISRO did. We started late in the sector of space technology, but we gave the world an affordable and reliable option. The same has to be done in AI sector. A model that is both affordable and reliable.
