Captain Ayush’s century laid the foundation of a big score.

New Delhi. The pitch on which the bat of Vaibhav Suryavanshi remained silent, where the India Under -19 team created a mountain of runs. India made their strength realize on the first day of the first youth Test match against England Under 19. Captain Ayush Mhatre scored a brilliant century in the format of the White Ball (Limited Over Series). Due to which the India Under-19 team first scored a big score against England on the early ‘Youth Test’. India Under-19 team scored 450 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 88 overs.

The aggressive opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi (14) was dismissed cheaply. While Ayush Mhatre, who struggled in the ODI series, laid the foundation of a big score by scoring 102 runs with the help of 14 fours and two sixes off 115 balls. He added 173 runs for the second wicket with Vihan Malhotra (67). After the pair returned to the pavilion, Abhigyan Kundu (90 off 95 balls) and Rahul Kumar (85 off 85 balls) missed out on completing centuries, but he batted aggressively and brought the team close to 400 runs.
