The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) officially made an official announcement of the Venuse of the Asia Cup 2025 on 2 August (Saturday). The Asia Cup will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 9 September to 28 September. These matches will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The tournament will begin on 9 September from the match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong, which will be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
At the same time, the high-voltage match between India and Pakistan will be played at Dubai International Stadium on 14 September (Sunday). While the final match is scheduled to be played in Dubai on 28 September. India and Pakistan have been kept in Group A, including teams from UAE and Oman.
India-Pakistan teams will be face to face on 14 September. If both teams qualify for super-four stages, then it is possible to clash on 21 September for the second time. If both teams make it to the finals, then both of them can face face to face in this tournament for the third time.
After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, tension arose between India and Pakistan. The voices of protest have arisen over the India-Pakistan match. Amidst all this, the Asian Cricket Council has confirmed the venue of the tournament. The matches will be held according to the predetermined schedule.
