Provision in budget to give scooty to girl students
In his budget speech, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that under the Rani Laxmibai Scooty Scheme, a system of Rs 400 crore is proposed to provide scooty to the meritorious girl students going to college. A scheme is being brought in connection with giving scooty on the basis of eligibility to meritorious girl students receiving higher education.
2 cylinders will be available for free
Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, while presenting the budget in the assembly, announced that 2 free cylinders will be available under the Ujjwala scheme.
Big announcement regarding expressway in UP
From Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Ganga Expressway will be constructed from Kausia district Hardoi via Farrukhabad Admission Controlled Green Field Expressway. A budget of Rs 900 crore has been allocated for both these expressways.

There is a provision of 50 crores for Vindhya Expressway, connecting the Ganga Expressway with Prayagraj-Mirzapur-Varanasi-Chandauli to Sonbhadra.
A proposal of 50 crores for expansion of Ganga Expressway to connect Meerut to Haridwar. A proposal of 50 crores for construction of Bundelkhand Rewa Expressway. Also, Rs 461 crore was allocated for Defense Corridor Industrial.
Artificial Intelligence City will be made
The Finance Minister has also announced new plans to establish ‘Artificial Intelligence City’ and establish ‘Technology Research Translation Park’ for the establishment of ‘Artificial Intelligence City’ to make the state the center of artificial intelligence (AI). First AI City will be built in Lucknow.
A provision of Rs 25 crore is proposed for the establishment of Science City in Agra and Rs 5 crore for establishment of Science City and Nakshatala in Varanasi.
Announcement to make 58 municipal bodies ‘ideal smart municipal bodies’
Suresh Khanna said in the budget speech that an action plan is being made to establish and renovate science city, science parks and constellations in the state. Along with this, work will be done through conversion of various schemes to develop 58 municipal bodies of the district headquarters as ‘ideal smart municipal bodies’ in addition to the municipal corporations. For this, a system of Rs 2.50 crore, ie a total of Rs 145 crore is proposed for the municipal body.
This announcement made for the children who lost their parents in Kovid
A provision of Rs 252 crore is proposed for the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Child Service Scheme run for the care and financial assistance of the children who have lost their parents during Kovid.
Development of tourist destinations
In the budget, a budget provision of Rs 400 crore is proposed for the development scheme of Chief Minister tourist places, Rs 100 crore for purchase of land for the construction of Shri Banke Bihari Ji Maharaj Temple Mathura-Vrindavan Corridor and Rs 50 crore for construction.
Budget for Minority Welfare Department and Backward Classes
A budget system of Rs 1998 crore is proposed in the financial year 2025-2026 for the development and upliftment of the minority community. A provision of Rs 365 crore is proposed under the Scholarship Scheme to the students of minority communities. At the same time, a system of Rs 2825 crore is proposed for the Backward Class Scholarship Scheme. Arrangements of Rs 200 crore have been made for the marriage grant scheme of daughters of poor people of backward classes. Whereas, a provision of Rs 35 crore has been made to provide computer training to unemployed youth and women of this class.
On the other hand, under the old age/Kisan Pension Scheme for social welfare, Rs 1000 per month is being given per month. For this, a system of about 8105 crore rupees is proposed. A provision of Rs 550 crore has been made in the budget for the Chief Minister’s Group Marriage Scheme for the marriage of daughters of all classes.
CM Yogi said this on the budget
Speaking on the budget, CM Yogi said that after the implementation of our Constitution, after a brilliant journey of 75 years, this budget is important to make a roadmap for our next 25 years. We have prepared a budget of 2025-2026 with the theme of assisting the underprivileged according to the basic feelings of the Constitution. The last budget had different themes, the first budget in 2017 was dedicated to the Annadata farmers. This budget is a focus on youth, entrepreneurs and women. In the budget, we have promised to give 92 thousand jobs.
