Millions of devotees are reaching daily to take a dip of faith in Mahakumbh. Camps set up in Prayagraj Mela area have 13 major akhadas besides saints and saints and Kalpavis. But among all these camps, the camp of a Muslim spiritual guru in the Kumbh Mela area became a topic of discussion, in which hundreds of domestic and foreign devotees come daily. The name of these gurus is Mumtaz Ali Khan who is also known as Mr. M. Let us know who is Shri M and how he became a part of Mahakumbh, the biggest religious event of Hindus.
Born in a Muslim family in Kerala
Mumtaz Ali Khan was born on 6 November 1949 in Trivandrum, Kerala, who was very interested in spirituality since childhood. He left home at the age of just 19 and went to the Himalayan caves. Here he came in contact with many saints and took initiation from them and took the path of spirituality. From then on, he came to be known as Mr. M and Madhukar Nath in place of Mumtaz Ali. Shri M Satsang runs the Foundation and he has also been awarded the Padma Bhushan in the year 2020.
Talking about his spiritual life, he said that in this birth, this journey started from the age of 8 years, but I believe in rebirth. He says that in Trivandrum, my Guru Maheshwar Nath Baba had discovered me, that there is someone here who has to teach spirituality, it shows that there must have been a relationship between us. Otherwise, how can a saint inspire a child of eight years to enter the spiritual world. It is also said that Maheshwar Nath became invisible after this meeting of childhood and met him in Badrinath’s caves for about 10 years. But by then he had awakened the spirit of spirituality in his life. He again took initiation by staying with his guru for three years.
Public service through Satsang Foundation
Walking on the path shown by his Guru, Mr. M walked on the path to tell the world. Under this, he established the Satsang Foundation, which is aimed at discovering its origin apart from the external cover of all religions. They believe that the principles are not of anyone’s work, but for real knowledge, there is a need to go to the original. The Satsang Foundation also works on this mission, where meetings and satsangs of all religions are held.
Apart from the Satsang Foundation, Mr. M runs programs related to schools, hospitals and public welfare across the country. Apart from this, he has also mastered the field of yoga. For the purpose of advancing this mission, Shri M Mahakumbh has reached where he is motivating the devotees coming from all over the world to follow the spiritual path. Many foreign devotees also come to his camp and get inspiration to follow the path given by them.
Mr. M attended the Mumbai Conclave organized by India Today a few days ago. During this, he said that go back to your roots, there you will get an answer to every question. The word Hindu has coined by the Arabs. The religion of India is eternal. This is eternal culture. We should learn from the Upanishads. Two thousand years ago, what our culture taught us, we should follow it. He said that I believe that we need to know Sanskrit in today’s time, which people have forgotten. Science has also considered Sanskrit. Sanskrit should be made mandatory.
