Robert O’Brien said in an interview to Hindustan Times, “Trump also said many times that America First does not mean only America and hence he built good relations with other countries. He further said, “I think he saw himself in Modi because Modi was engaged in making sure that India was really taken care of. The Indian people overwhelmingly supported Modi. Talking about Donald Trump, he said, “I think Trump is 100 percent committed to America. He wants what is best for our country and whatever he does, he sees it from this perspective. How it helps the American people. In some cases it may be good for our allies and bad for our adversaries, but they are always looking for what is best for the average American worker.”
He added, “He wants to see Americans with good-paying jobs. He believes too many of those jobs were in the manufacturing sector, which China has dominated.
