Lalu filed nomination in front of the party’s National Election Officer Ramchandra Purave. The way for the post of Lalu Yadav president to be elected unopposed has also been cleared and Lalu Yadav’s coronation is also decided on 5 July.
Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar this year. In this context, it is very special to re -elected Lalu Prasad Yadav to the post of National President. Lalu’s coronation is important in view of the politics inside the Lalu family and the current challenges in front of the grand alliance. In the 2020 assembly elections, RJD made Tejashwi Yadav a face, even then Lalu Prasad Yadav was the national president of the party but in the poster banner, Most of the preference was received by Lalu.
