Devotees are running in the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj. The number of devotees who have been bathing in the Sangam for the last two days are increasing more than one crore daily. It is being claimed that more than 53 crore devotees have taken a dip in the confluence. By 26 February, this number is being claimed to increase further. Meanwhile, thousands of women and men prisoners in the district jail of Unnao have bathed with water of Prayagraj Mahakumbh. They are considering themselves blessed because it was not possible for them to remain in prison. But this was possible with the efforts of his jail superintendent.

Jail Superintendent Pawan Singh told on the phone that he had gone to bathe at Mahakumbh, Prayagraj on 14 February. On February 15, while returning, he brought the water of Prayagraj Mahakumbh Sangam for women and male prisoners in jail while returning on February 15. On the duty on duty, they decorated the water tank for the bathing of the prisoners inside the jail and mixed the water of the confluence in it. The prisoners who were putting on themselves of the water of that confluence, took a bath by speaking Ganga Maiya Ki Jai.

The jail superintendent told that there are about one thousand women and men captives in Unnao jail who cannot go to Prayagraj Mahakumbh, but they have been brought to the Sangam water and bathing them so that the evil of their mind can end.

In view of the huge crowd of Magh Mela and Amrit bathing in Prayagraj, the administration has extended the duration of deployment of officers till 27 February. The number of devotees taking bath in the Sangam is continuously increasing, which has taken this decision to keep law and order and traffic management smooth.

On the other hand, every day in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, lakhs of people are reaching for Sangam bath. Many devotees are getting disturbed by hunger and thirst. Many people are coming from far and wide and taking a dip of faith here. Passengers returning after bathing also have to travel long distances. In such a situation, social workers and local citizens have started serving food and water to help them.
