The Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 will start only 2 days after getting the King of Asia. The Indian squad has been announced for the World Cup, which will be captained by Harmanpreet Kaur. The World Cup will be played till 30 September-2 November, whose matches will be played in India and Sri Lanka. India and Sri Lanka are going to host this big tournament of Women’s World Cup i.e. 50 overs, for which a total of 5 grounds have been selected. By the way, as if sources, matches can be shifted from M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru to another place. A total of 8 teams will play in the World Cup, who will face each other once in the league stage under the round-robin format. The top-4 team will enter the semi-finals in the group stage. Finally the finals will be played on 2 November.

Team India’s last league stage match will be held with Bangladesh on 26 October. According to the format of this tournament, it will be necessary to win at least 5 matches to reach the top four.
