India and Sri Lanka are going to host this big tournament of Women’s World Cup i.e. 50 overs, for which a total of 5 grounds have been selected. By the way, as if sources, matches can be shifted from M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru to another place. A total of 8 teams will play in the World Cup, who will face each other once in the league stage under the round-robin format. The top-4 team will enter the semi-finals in the group stage. Finally the finals will be played on 2 November.
The World Cup will begin with India vs Sri Lanka match on 30 September. The second match of Team India will be held on 5 October from Pakistan and then on 9 October South Africa. On October 12, Team India will have a tough challenge of Australia, which has won the ODI World Cup 7 times. India will face England on 19 October and then on 23 October from New Zealand. Team India’s last league stage match will be held with Bangladesh on 26 October. According to the format of this tournament, it will be necessary to win at least 5 matches to reach the top four.
