New Delhi. Mumbai Indians made it to the final of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) for the second consecutive time. Harmanpreet Kaur captained Mumbai defeated Gujarat Joints by 47 runs in Eliminator. In the title match, Mumbai Indians will compete with Delhi Capitals on Saturday 15 March at Brabourne Stadium. The match will be played at 7:30 pm. In Mumbai’s win, the aggressive half-century innings of Nate Cyre-Bunt (77) and Haley Mathews (77) played a key role. There was a partnership of 133 runs in 71 balls for the second wicket between two. Mathews and Cyver-Brant took a wonder of three and one wicket respectively after the bat.

After scoring a big score of 213 for four wickets, Mumbai stopped Gujarat for 166 runs in 19.4 overs and registered a seventh win in seven matches against this team. For Gujarat, Daniel Gibson contributed 34, Fobe Lichfield 31 and Bharti Phoolmali contributed 30 runs. Apart from Mathews and Cyver Brant for Mumbai, Amelia Kerr also took two wickets. Shabnam Ismail got a success. After batting vigilantly in the powerplay, Cyver-Bunt and Mathews hit fours and sixes in every field of the field. Cyver-Bunt scored 77 runs in 41 balls.
