New Delhi. Australia scored 144 for eight in the second innings of the second day of the ICC World Test Championship Final after scoring South Africa for 138 runs thanks to six wickets of captain Kat Cummins on the second day of the WTC final being played between Australia and South Africa. It is becoming a little difficult for South Africa from here.

In front of the stormy bowling of Pat Cummins (six wickets for 28 runs), the South African team was reduced to just 138 runs in 57.1 overs, leading to a 74 -run lead in the first innings. Mitchell Starc also took two wickets for 41 runs. David Bedingham was the top scorer of the team by scoring 45 runs with the help of six fours in 111 balls. Captain Temba Bavuma scored 36 runs.

Australia’s lead crosses 200

In the second innings, Australia lost seven wickets for 73 runs in front of Lungi Angidi (three wickets for 35 wickets) and Kagiso Rabada (three wickets for 44 runs) but Alex Carrie (43 runs, 50 balls, five fours) and Stark (unbeaten 16) shared 61 runs for the eighth wicket to reach the team’s total lead to cross 200 runs. At the end of the day’s play, Nathan Leone was playing a run and was playing with Stark.

Australia starts bad

Australia started poorly in the second innings. Opener Usman Khwaja (06) was caught by Rabada at the hands of wicketkeeper Kyle Verene while Cameron Green (00) caught the Vian Mulder off the same fast bowler. Marnas Labushen (22), who is presenting a challenge to save his place in the Test team, once again failed and caught Verene off Marco Yansen. Labushen was starting the innings for the first time in this match. Steve Smith (13), who scored a half -century in the first innings, also fell off the ball of Lungi Angidi.

Australia’s top order flop

Another batsman Bu Webster (09), who scored a half -century in the first innings, hit the angidi but fell on the next ball, making Australia’s score 64 runs for five wickets. In the next over, Vian Mulder bowled the Travis Head (09) while Angidi uprooted the Cummins (06) stumps. Carrie and Stark then handled the innings. Stark completed a century of the team’s runs in the 34th over with a run off Yansen. Stark was lucky at the score of 12 runs when Verene dripped her catch off Rabada.
