The Israeli Army (IDF) on Saturday stated that a missile was fired towards Israel on behalf of Yemen, causing sirens in many areas.
Israeli Air Defense Systems intercepted the missile, giving quick reactions. Also, citizens have been appealed to follow the instructions of Home Front Command.
Israel’s warning to Huti rebels
IDF issued a statement saying that the air defense system is completely active and ready to deal with any emergency. The attack took place at a time when Israel has warned Yemen’s Huti rebels that if they continue to attack in support of Gaza, they can be imposed naval and aerial blockade.

Significantly, since the Gaza war that began in October 2023, Huti rebels have carried out several missiles and drone attacks on Israel, which has either intercepted or reached the target.
