After coming to power, the AAP was limited to welfare schemes only.

Asked what could be the reason for the slipping of votes from AAP, Yadav said that many supporters of Modi, who had voted for the BJP in the Lok Sabha, supported the AAP in the assembly elections. Yadav said that but this time some of them also stayed with BJP in assembly elections.

Yogendra Yadav told- Why AAP got defeat

Yogendra Yadav also described the frequent quarrel between the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and the AAP government as the reason for the party’s election failure. He said, “The conflict that was going on, the basic works were being ignored, the daily fight between the Lieutenant Governor and the government was probably making Modi supporters feel that he should support the BJP this time.”
