Thanks to Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s 48 runs, India U-19 defeated England U-19 by 6 wickets in the first Youth ODI. The English team batting after winning the toss at the County Ground How was reduced to 174 runs in 42.2 overs.
Kanishka Chauhan took 3 wickets from India. In response, in 24 overs, the Indian team scored 178 runs losing 4 wickets and won the match. Abhigyan Kundu scored an innings of 45 runs.
