Nisanka’s brilliant 122-run innings became the backbone of this match and the visiting team gave the team a 2–0 win in the series. In such moments when restraint was most needed, Nisanka showed patience and scored a match winning century for the team.

As he spent time at the crease, the pace of scoring his run also increased, and he completed a century with great fours off 111 balls.
