At the same time, there is a possibility of dense fog in Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Gorakhpur. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain till February 5, while the weather is expected to be clear from Thursday (6 February). Western disturbance will be activated on 8 February, causing a drop of 2-3 degrees in temperature.

Effect of fog and cold winds in Bihar

There will be dense fog in many districts including Patna, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur and Gaya. Due to the wester winds, the effect of cold will remain and in the coming days, there will be a fluctuations in temperature.

How will the weather be in Haryana-Punjab?

In Haryana and Punjab, there is a possibility of rain for the next three days due to the influence of western disturbances. The Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded in Gurugram 302, which is in the ‘very poor’ category, while the AQI of Faridabad was 217. According to the Meteorological Department (Wednesday), there may be thunderstorms on 5 February, which will drop the temperature.

Weather changed in Rajasthan

Due to western disturbance in Rajasthan, light rain received light rain in many districts including Jaipur, Ajmer, Dholpur and Bikaner. Ajmer recorded 3.4 mm of rainfall, 2.0 mm in Dholpur and 1.0 mm in Jaipur. The minimum temperature was recorded at 6.7 degrees in Sangaria and 8.4 degrees in Jaisalmer. The Meteorological Department has predicted the movement of clouds in the coming days.

Snowfall continues in Himachal and Kashmir

Snowfall and rain continue in the upper areas of Himachal Pradesh. Except Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain in the rest of the districts. At the same time, there is snowfall in the Kashmir Valley, due to which the temperature has been recorded below zero. The dry weather is over due to snowfall in the height areas of Srinagar and rain in the plains.

Due to cyclone in the northeastern states of Orissa, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, a major change in the weather is being seen. It is likely to rain with strong winds. At the same time, due to western disturbances in North India, weather changes in UP, MP, Bihar, Rajasthan and Delhi-NCR continue. Explain that the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of another western disturbance from February 8, which may cause temperature to fall in North India.
