A big scam related to recruitment in the railway department has come to light. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against railway officials of Vadodara, Mumbai and other places. These officials are accused that they collected money from the candidates in lieu of passing the departmental examination in the railway.

CBI has registered a case against many other officials including Ankush Vasan (IRPS, Western Railway, Vadodara), Sanjay Kumar Tiwari (Deputy Chief Commercial Manager, Church Gate, Western Railway, Mumbai), Neeraj Sinha (Deputy Superintendent) and Mukesh Meena. .
Instructions given to make a list of candidates
Investigation has revealed that Ankush Vasan instructed Sanjay Tiwari to make a list of 10 such candidates who want to pass the exam by paying money. After this, a bribe of Rs 4-5 lakh was taken from every candidate.
Officers took gold instead of cash
According to the CBI, this transaction was done in a completely secret way. Gold was taken in place of cash in the form of bribe so that there is no record of it and no invoice could be made. CBI is investigating this entire case.
