The girl was seen wandering on the streets in a drone.

A missing girl was discovered in Surat city of Gujarat with the understanding of police and correct use of technology. The girl got out of the house, angry with her mother’s scolding and then wandered. In two hours, the police found the girl with the help of a drone and handed her over to the family.

Family reached police station after 10 hours

On 3 April 2025, an 8 -year -old daughter of a family living in Udhna area was scolded by a mother. The angry girl left the house saying that I was going to play. When she did not return home for a long time, the parents started investigating. Along with the family, the people of the neighborhood also kept searching for the girl till around 7 pm. Finally, after reaching the police station exhausted and tired.

Clue from CCTV, then drone searched

The police started scrutinizing CCTV footage of the girl’s house. When four police teams checked more than 25 CCTV footage, the girl’s clue was found. In CCTV footage, she was seen going from Udhna BRC police post to Vijayanagar vegetable market. So the police immediately sent a team there. However, Vijayanagar vegetable market is one of the most crowded places in Surat. It was not easy to find it amid the movement of thousands of people.

In view of the crowd and narrow streets, the police decided to blow the drone. After about half an hour of effort, the girl was seen wandering in the crowded market. After this, the police immediately sent the police team there and thus the girl reached the safe family. Police Inspector SN Desai also reprimanded the girl’s parents for informing the police late.
