A horrific road accident occurred in Shikohabad Naseerpur police station area of Firozabad in the early hours of Wednesday. A car returning from the Kumbh Mela on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway collided with a vehicle parked, killing three people in the car on the spot, while three others were seriously injured. The police immediately rushed all the injured to the hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
According to the information, this accident happened in Shikohabad Nasirpur police station area of Firozabad at around 4:30 am today. The car returning to Delhi here collided with an unknown vehicle. Eyewitnesses say that the driver of the car had a nap, due to which the vehicle uncontrolled and collided with the vehicle parked on the roadside. The collision was so strong that the car was badly damaged and three people riding in it died on the spot. The unknown vehicle escaped from there after the accident.

When the people around saw, they immediately reached the spot and started helping. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and sent the injured to the trauma center immediately. According to doctors, the condition of the three injured remains critical. The injured Rupa Devi told that we were returning from Kumbh, when the driver got a sleepy nap while driving. We did not know who the car collided with.
The dead include 35 -year -old Kunal, 45 -year -old Ranjit and 20 -year -old Premlata Kumari. All these people lived temporarily in Azadpur police station North West Delhi. Originally these people were from district Nawada Bihar. Those who were injured in the accident include 23 -year -old Madhav resident Muzaffarnagar, 40 -year -old Rupa Devi resident Azadpur Delhi and 40 -year -old Rita Devi resident Delhi.
The police is investigating this accident. CCTV footage on the highway is being investigated to identify the unknown vehicle who escaped after the accident. Police say that soon action will be taken by catching the accused driver.
