According to the report of the news agency, the BSF said that the soldiers posted on the border saw the suspicious movement and a person is coming towards the Indian border. The soldiers warned him, but he paid no attention and kept moving forward. When the danger was felt, the soldiers shot him, killing him on the spot.
The spokesman said that the identity of the intruder and its motive is being ascertained. No weapons or objectionable materials have been recovered from him. The police was informed about the incident, which sent the body for postmortem.
After this incident, BSF held a flag meeting with Pakistan Rangers, which was held at the border area at around 1:10 pm. During the meeting, a strong protest was lodged by India on the conspiracy to infiltrate. However, the Pakistani side refused to take the body of the intruder.
Senior BSF officials believe that this incident may be part of the possible terrorist activities being carried out by Pakistan. BSF has thwarted a big conspiracy with its vigilance and promptness.
