The Y category security of 20 MLAs of Shiv Sena Shinde faction in Maharashtra has been lifted. The India Today report claimed that only one constable has been deployed in the protection of these MLAs.

Controversy started over the post of patron minister of Raigad-Nasik The dispute between the BJP and the Shinde faction began with the appointment of the patron ministers of Raigad and Nashik. Actually, CM Devendra Fadnavis appointed NCP Aditi Tatkare as the patron minister of Raigad. This deputy CM Eknath Shinde did not like it.

He wanted a leader of his party for this post as Shiv Sena has great influence in Raigad. The appointment of Tatakre was stopped after Shinde’s displeasure. But the matter is still not completely resolved.

Shinde held a separate meeting after Fadnavis meeting This happened for the second time in February when Shinde called a separate meeting on the same subject after the review meeting of Chief Minister Fadnavis. Earlier on 14 February, he had a review meeting on the preparations for the Kumbh Mela to be held in 2027. Whereas a few days ago, Fadnavis held a meeting on this in which Shinde did not attend.

Order to follow up from NCLT Shinde also directed the officials to follow up with the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for payment of arrears of workers. He said that Midc should make a special cell for this work.

Dual meeting affects functioning According to senior government officials, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister holding separate meetings are being repetitive to work. This is not only a waste of time, but the functioning of departments is also being affected.
