In the Sardhana police station area of Meerut, the police has revealed the murder on 25 January. Police said that the body of Mohan (45), resident of village Shahpur in Muzaffarnagar, was found in a sugarcane field in Bharsona village of Sardhana. He had severe injuries on his head, causing it to be murdered.
During the investigation, it was found that Amit, a resident of Mohan’s village, had a debt of 60 thousand rupees. Mohan was repeatedly asking for his money, due to which Amit hatched a conspiracy to kill him. On January 25, Mohan went to Haridwar. Amit brought him to Sardhana by sitting on a bike from there and gave him liquor on the canal. When Mohan was drunk, Amit crushed his head with a brick and killed him.

After this, Amit called his son Paras and friend Rajdeep. The three together hid the dead body in the sugarcane field and tied clothes and threw it into the canal. The police arrested the three accused in this case and recovered the bikes, clothes and bricks used in the murder from them.

SP City Ayush Vikram of Meerut told in the press conference that the murder was investigated thoroughly and the three accused have been arrested. The police is taking further legal action.
