Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived to inspect the International Cricket Stadium in Ganjari, Rajatalab, Varanasi. He said that with the construction of this stadium, not only Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh but also the players of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will also get a golden opportunity to improve their sportsmanship. Cricket national and international matches will be organized here, which will give local players a chance to perform on a large scale.

Chief Minister reviews the progress of work

According to the news agency, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed the officials not to delay the construction of the stadium and it should be completed within the stipulated time. He emphasized on making drainage systems, road connectivity and audience facilities of high quality. The Chief Minister met the workers and engineers working in the stadium and encouraged them.

The state -of -the -art stadium, which is being built at a cost of Rs 451 crore, is spread over 30.66 acres and will have a seating capacity of 30,000 spectators simultaneously. This stadium will be a major center not only for cricket, but also for other sports and training of players. Sports facilities like badminton, table tennis and swimming will also be provided here. World -class pitch and state -of -the -art drainage systems are being prepared for players’ practice and match, so that the game can continue even under adverse weather conditions. Apart from this, there will also be state -of -the -art facilities like the best seating arrangement, VIP lodge, media gallery and digital scoreboard for the audience.
