Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad has been admitted to Delhi AIIMS for treatment on Wednesday. He said that the 76-year-old leader has been admitted to the Cardio Critical Care Unit of Cardio-neuro center under the supervision of Dr. Rakesh Yadav, Professor of AIIMS. A team of doctors is monitoring their condition.
After being admitted to a hospital in Patna for some time, he was brought to AIIMS for treatment at around 9.35 pm. Talking to reporters in Patna, his son and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said that Lalu Yadav’s back and hand have wounds, which can be done in Delhi.

The former Deputy Chief Minister said, ‘He had reached the airport in the afternoon to go to Delhi. My mother Rabri Devi was also with her. There was a sudden decline in blood pressure, after which we took him to Paras Hospital.
According to Prakash Sinha, who led the team of doctors treating Lalu Yadav, he was kept in an emergency ward, where his condition improved. He wanted to know if he could be taken to Delhi by air ambulance. We asked them to go.
