The Waqf Board Amendment Bill has passed from Parliament. Now this bill will become law after the President’s signature. It was expected that the government could face difficulty in introducing this bill from its allies. But it did not happen. It was also feared that the Muslim community could be fierce about this bill. But this did not happen either. Today, the peace with which the prayers have been settled in the states of North India, it is a symbol that the central government has also got the support of the Muslim community on this bill. On Wednesday, on the day the bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha, there were also reports of distribution of sweets from many parts of the country to Muslims. In many places the Muslim community welcomed the bill with fanfare and firecrackers.
Now the question arises whether the Modi government has reached the Muslim community too? Because even if it is assumed that there were people of BJP supporting the bill, even if there is no news of violent performance from anywhere in the whole country on the prayers of Jumme, then it means that the Muslim community has sanctioned this bill. Common Muslims are probably beginning to understand that the opposition is opposing this bill because they have to oppose everything from the Modi government. Let us see what was there due to which this time there was no opposition to the Waqf Board amendment, which was against the CAA or NRC.
1-Opposition did not have arguments that could provoke Muslims, JPC did not give a chance
Opposition of the opposition was on the basis that it puts obstacles in religious matters of Muslims. But the opposition could not prove how this bill is interfering in the religious matters of Muslims. The arguments that Muslim leaders made were so superficial that the common Muslims did not trust them. Muslim leaders said that the Waqf Act cannot be amended. But when the public itself is seeing that the act was formed by the law of Parliament, and many times there was amendment from Parliament, then why can’t there be amendments from Parliament? Opponents said that the government does not want to talk on the Waqf Act amendment. But the government said that JPC was made only. JPC also talked to millions of Muslims across the country, which is recorded in the records. The government also accepted many of his suggestions. The matter of including non -Islamic people in the board, Home Minister Amit Shah made it clear that there is no such thing. It is being told that non -Islamic people are being given a place in the committee whose job will have to be investigated for the occupation of the lands of other religions.
2-BJP provided better information about the Waqf Board against CAA
This time the BJP made the information about the irregularities related to the Waqf more among the people. BJP said that Waqf’s property is done to help poor Muslims and widow women, but this is not happening. With this, the government proved that the earnings from several lakh acres of land are only one and a half to 200 crores. While up to 12 thousand crores can be earned. The fact was brought to the fact that the Waqf Board is taking only a few hostils for hundreds of acres of land in many places. Which includes many five star hotels.
Along with this, the backward Muslim community also liked that the place has been reserved for them in the board. The matter was not so serious for the common Muslims that they had to take stones and take place. Actually, ordinary Muslims already knew about the misdeeds of the Waqf Board. So far no government was bringing it out in the greed of vote bank. For the first time it happened that a government has managed to bring out this corruption.
3-Muslims knew that they were given wrong information about CAA, no citizenship was sent to anyone’s citizenship.
Common Muslims did not follow this issue behind the so -called secular parties and leaders of their religion because they remembered to tricken in the name of CAA. The leaders of the opposition had spread in protest against the CAA that the citizenship of Muslims would go away. Even after so much time has passed the CAA bill, no Muslim citizenship has gone till date. The NRC was almost stopped by the government. Now the common Muslims have understood that we are being tricked on the Waqf Board Bill. The common Muslim has understood that we do not have any benefit from this bill, but the assets of Waqf may be free.
The 4-Muslim community has understood that the benefit from the Waqf Board amendment is more profitable than the loss
Most Muslims did not take the opposition to the Waqf Bill serially because they understood that this is a matter of property management, not of religion. Muslims know that even if the government is saying that even twenty percent of the government is correct, then their welfare is certain. Common people are seeing that they are getting more benefits of all the welfare schemes of the government than Hindus. This means that there is no injustice to Muslims officially. If the income of the Waqf Board increases, then the welfare of some poor Muslims will definitely be there.
